On the 14th of September XCM clients Rank and Lottoland took place in a charity golf day for Childhood Cancer Research RICC.
The competition took place at Alcaidesa links golf course in Spain, with XCM sponsoring the 18th hole.
In total there were 72 golfers all vying for prizes. Throughout the round the players were taking part in contests such as longest drive and nearest the pin. Texas scramble was the format used, which enabled the players to build a true team spirit within the competition.
The players were divided up into two teams; Team XCM and Team XCM Lottoland. XCM Director, Andy Masters featured for Team XCM and despite the heroic efforts plus the handicap of having Andy play in their team, XCM Lottoland came out victorious, not only beating Team XCM but coming 2nd place overall for the day.
Team XCM made up for this defeat by putting in a better performance at the BBQ and bar later in the day.
There was an abundance of prizes to be won at the events raffle. Almost everyone taking part won something, raising 1,800 Euro in the process.
Overall the day raised well over 11,000 Euro for the charity. A fantastic result and day for all.
