As a result of reduced discounting, Jack Wills like-for-like sales were up 1% in December. Profit margins also grew by 6% from the same period in 2015
This is great news for Co-founder Peter Williams who told the Sunday Times the retailer’s performance was further helped by its new Active-wear Sporting Goods range plus international expansion driving significant growth both in the UK and internationally.
Mobile sales saw a 60% increase, whilst international sales doubled year-on-year. The bath & beauty category and women’s lounge wear grew by 40% and 20% respectively.
Whilst January saw the official launch of the new range, a preview of selected products was released for the Christmas period.
